Well, I did my talk at the Everywoman conference. It was great to meet so many newsletter readers there - and it was fabulous to be speaking at the same event as Ann Summer's Jacqueline Gold and broadcaster Jaqcui Harper. What actually made it quite funny was that I went to University at Canterbury, not far from the conference centre where the event was held. This meant that I had to take one of those stop-at-very station trains that I haven't had to get on for about fifteen years, bringing back lots of memories. And it was strange to imagine what my University self would have said about my speaking at the conference - at that time I was more concerned about getting an interview with New Kids on the Block for the University magazine!
